The color is beautiful pale salmon pink. This Rose has pure aromas and flavors of raspberry, strawberry, and a hint of peach. Vibrant acidity melts into delightful mouthfeel and provides long, elegant finish.
We obtained the cuvee of this Rose from Pinot Noir using a technique known as Saignee (bleeding juice from crushed grapes in a tank). The cuvee was chilled, settled, and racked. Then 80% of the cuvee went through 100% cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks in order to gain pure full fruits expression, while 20% went through barrel fermentation to obtain soft mouthfeel.
