The combined climatic and soil conditions of Sonoma County are ideal for producing exceptional Chardonnay. Carneros is renowned for fog and wine induced cool summers and shallow soils. Mid-season leaf removal helped insure healthy, evenly ripened fruit with natural acid balance and intense apple, grapefruit, and pineapple flavors.
