Tasting Notes

This Zinfandel has delectable aromas of raspberry, plum, cherry, and spicy notes of tobacco and clove. The color is deep ruby and the flavor shows a harmonious expression of vibrant fruit and oak with a lingering spicy finish of white pepper, anise, and cloves. Enjoy this bold and elegant Zinfandel.

Winemakers Notes

Dry Creek is known for the world-class Zinfandel and its high quality has gained popularity in the winegrowing areas of California. The ripened grapes were hand-picked. The grapes were de-stemmed with a portion of the whole berries left intact, fermented with inoculated yeasts, and pumped over daily. After completion of fermentation the wine received a short extended maceration and was gently pressed. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels for 22 months.
