This Pinot Grigio has fresh aromas of pear, green apple, orange zest, and a hint of honeysuckle. Refreshing stone fruits flavor and bright acidity excite the palate and melt into a lively finish. Vibrant and fruit forward.
The grapes were picked by hand in the night to secure the quality. At the winery, the whole clusters were gently pressed with the Champagne press method. The juice was then chilled, settled, and racked. 85% of juice was fermented in a stainless steel tank for cold fermentation in order to retain the Pinot Grigio's fruit forward characters, while 15% went through barrel fermentation with neutral oak to enhance rich mouthfeel. At the end, the two portions were blended together.
